About the club:
We are a friendly and competitive club and we have one of the best greens in our area. If you are looking for a new club or a change of sport to take up, why not give us a look. We can be found in the park off Royden Way. Coaching and bowls are available for your use. We have excellent facilities: a large club house, ladies and gents changing rooms and also a well-stocked bar with a wide range of drinks available to you.
The Club was founded in 1920 and was situated where Frinton Library is now. It was known as Frinton Town at this time. There were two clubs in Frinton; the other was in Queens Road. The Club moved its site to the park in the early 1950s. Its building was a wooden clubhouse but in 1960-67 a new Club House was built, paid for and donated by member Jack Carroll. In 1994-95 this was extended to its standing of today.
We belong to the Bowls England and the Essex County Bowling Association and we would be pleased to see and help you with your bowls.
