Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contact.

Personal details of the person(s) making the application.
These may include:
- Name
- Address
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
How long do we keep your personal data?
In accordance with the Council’s Corporate Retention Schedule :-
- The process of regulation of burials and cremations, including notice of internment, instructions, receipt of release or operators card – permanent.
- Applications for memorials or inscriptions – 5 years
- Preliminary applications for cremation – 1 year

Information may be shared with funeral directors or executors of an estate.
Where we get it from?
Individuals making the application (Data Subjects) and/or other relevant third parties, such as funeral directors or executors of an estate.
