Secondary schools

Year 6 children due to move from primary to secondary school will receive information about how to apply in September. If you have not received this by mid-September, please contact Essex County Council by phone 0345 603 2200 or email admissions@essex.gov.uk

Primary schools

You will be sent primary school application information in mid-November. If you have not received this information by the middle of November please contact Essex County Council by phone 0345 603 2200 or email admissions@essex.gov.uk

You can apply for a school place online via the Essex County Council website and make an on-line application

The admission of pupils in county and controlled schools is the responsibility of the Local Education Authority.  In this area this is Essex County Council.
