Conservation and Nature Warden

Conservation Working Party at the Naze

The Council's conservation service can be contacted through the Nature Warden based at Northbourne Depot on 01255 686680 or by email at openspaceenquiries@tendringdc.gov.uk

This service can give advice on the protection and enhancement of the local environment and wildlife, and also offer advice as to how to obtain grants to develop areas of the countryside for public use or education.

The Council also has a Heritage and Conservation team based at the council offices in Clacton-on-sea, and their responsibility covers the historic, built & natural environment. Find out more on our heritage and conservation pages.
