Public launching ramps

There are a number of public launching sites in Tendring and the arrangements for accessing each of them is different.

Control of access to the Council's public launch facilities is delegated to the three local Powered Watercraft Clubs; Clacton, Frinton and Gunfleet.  Membership is a prerequisite for use of the facility and will entitle the PWC owner to either keys or the coded padlock combination at the individual club site.  Application is by means of a proforma available on the PWC club web sites or direct contact.  Tendring District Council will not issue either the codes or keys to gain access to the launch ramps to any PWC owner.
