The Council's Assets

Asset Management is the name we give to the way we manage the Council's land and property. The Council has two main types of land and property:

1.Housing Revenue Account (housing)
2.General Fund (other assets)

Assets related to our council housing are called Social Housing assets. They are managed separately by the Housing Team within our Operational Services Department.

Land and buildings owned by the Council for other reasons are called General Fund Assets. They are managed by the Council's other departments.
