These systems are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are in a public place when making an online or automated telephone payment we strongly advise you to make sure you are not overlooked as you enter your details to prevent them from being misused by somebody else.
When making a payment using the automated telephone payment method you will be given a receipt number to confirm that your payment has been made. Please keep a record of this number as it is proof of payment.
When making a payment using the online payment method you will be given the option to print a receipt or have one e-mailed to you, which we recommend you keep as proof of payment.
Both the Automated Telephone Payment service and the Internet Payment Service provide details of telephone numbers in the event of a query or problem. In addition, the Internet Payment Service also provides a contact email address.
In order to guard against card fraud and to ensure that customers' card payments are taken in the most secure environment, regular maintenance is carried out on the Council's Automated Telephone Payments and Secure Internet Payments services. This maintenance is carried out at a time when it is least disruptive to customers.
Tendring District Council no longer deal with on street parking enforcement. This function has been taken over by Colchester Borough Council under a new North Essex Parking Partnership. If you wish to pay an on-street parking fine please go to the North Essex area of www.parkingpartnership.org or call 01206 282316.
